A sexy-ass poster for the upcoming movie adaptation of Dragonball has hit the web. This is the lovely Emmy Rossum, she from the big-screen version of The Phantom of the Opera, who plays a character named Bulma in the flick. Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Jamie Chung, Rossum, Eriko Tamura, Joon Park, Chow Yun-Fat, Texas Battle, Randall Duk Kim and Ernie Hudson star in the film, which 20th Century Fox will release on April 10, 2009. Nerdorama have some screen shots from the movie also. Here's the poster.

The studio is pretty high on City of Ember, pushing early, early interviews (I haven't seen it yet), showing it to select audiences of middle schoolers.
The new poster, as Slashfilm notes, has a hint of Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D about it. That's not a bad thing. That was a tween fantasy that made money. The old poster (see the IMDB link for that) didn't.
This one isn't presold the way so many of these fantasies are. But the book's good, it has Bill Murray in the cast
